Team Canada has a unique combination of young talents and legendary champions, and Kara Chad is a great example of what the country has in store for the future. Kara has previously worked for Eric Lamaze in Belgium, during the summer and in Wellington, Florida through the winter months. World of Showjumping met Kara to discuss some of her lessons learned while working under Lamaze’s guidance.
After a highly successful pony career Matthew spent time based with Duncan Inglis in Haywards Heath, W Sussex. Matt and Kara have been based in Holland and America in recent years, with Matt being a key member of the Senior Nations Cup Team. FEI: https://www.fei.org/athlete/10018992
It was smiles all rounds Matt and Daniel flew their way to victory around the Spruce Meadows Grand Prix.
The whole team were ecstatic with the win - It was a technical and course but the pair took it in their stride.
Both Kara and Matt have been having a huge amount of luck on Canadian soil, with Kara picking up wins in the ATCO Cup and 1.45m Qualifier, and Matt picking up the win in the AltaGas Cup qualifier on One Whisper.
