Matt and Candy Girl had a great show this weekend, taking 2nd place in Friday's 1.45M Pearl Stakes and then winning Saturday's 1.50M Defender Challenge Stakes.

Candy was joined at the show by stablemate Daniel, who jumped well in Friday's 1.55M Defender Stakes, for just an unfortunate rail, however jumped a fantastic double clear on Sunday to take 7th in the 1.60M Rolex Grand Prix.

MGH Candy Girl takes the win at Royal Windsor CSI5*

Igor GPH finished the second week of the Sentower Easter Tour in style by winning the Grand Prix on Sunday!

Drawn 30th from 64 starters, Igor jumped a classy first round clear to make it through to the jump off.

Igor then jumped another immaculate round, crossing the line in 71.54 seconds, fractionally ahead of Brazil's second placed  Eduardo Pereira De Menezes and H5 Elvaro.

Igor GPH wins the Prijs A&M Sporthorses 1.45 Grand Prix

Igor GPH and Kara continued their great form with a win in the $39,000 FEI Welcome Stake 1.50m at Tryon International Equestrian Centre, USA.

Drawn 41 to jump in the starting field of 83, Kara and Igor GPH jumped the 7th out of only 14 first round clears. It was also the quickest first round clear.

Into the jump off, the pair crossed the line clear in 40.43 seconds, ahead of Richie Maloney and Ermes Di Tai in 42.50.

A win in the $39,000 FEI Welcome Stakes 1.50m for Kara and Igor GPH 

It was King Lepantino's time to shine at the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead today.

20 of the top 7 & 8 year old horses qualified during the week for the Grand Prix today.

Drawn 17th to go in the first round, Matt and King jumped the 10th out of 11 first round clears.

7 combinations jumped clear in the jump off, with Matt and king Lepantino crossing the line in 36.93 second, nearly a full second ahead of second place Nicole Lockhead Anderson and Conthago PS.

Kara and Igor GPH landed the Medium Tour 1.50 GP today at the Sunshine Tour.

Having jumped one of only 7 first round clears from the 73 starters, Kara and Igor jumped off in a time of 40.05 seconds, finishing 0.9 seconds faster than second placed Kendra Claricia Brinkop on Ma Belle.

Team Canada has a unique combination of young talents and legendary champions, and Kara Chad is a great example of what the country has in store for the future. 

Kara has previously worked for Eric Lamaze in Belgium, during the summer and in Wellington, Florida through the winter months. World of Showjumping met Kara to discuss some of her lessons learned while working under Lamaze’s guidance.

Ebolensky jumped incredibly to win the first 4* Grand Prix of the Spanish Sunshine Tour in Vejer.

In Matt's interview with World Of Showjumping, he said of Ebolensky "She's an amazing horse, we've had her since she was 7 years old and I brought her here when she was 8 and she's been here most years since. She won the Grand Prix in London, and this is the next big Grand Prix since then. She's just an incredible horse, she loves the facilities here and grass rings. I'm very lucky to have her."

Another GP win for Ebolensky in Spain

Matt and Ebolensky, took the win in the 5* 1.60m Grand Prix at the London International Horse Show on Monday.

Matt and Lenny were the only double clear out of the 30 starters.

It was an amazing end to the year for everybody at Maplepark Farms!

Ebolensky takes the 5* Turkish Airlines London Grand Prix

It was a dream come true for Matt, taking the CSI5* RBC Grand Prix win at Spruce Meadows.

Fabrice DN jumped an amazing couple of rounds, finishing ahead of Ireland's Conor Swail and Count Me In, who came second.

Matt Sampson & Fabrice DN- Winners of the CSI5* RBC Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows!

With an astounding 4 wins, 2 x 2nd places and a 3rd between them, Matt Sampson and Kara Chad have had an unbelievable start to their trip to Spruce Meadows in Canada.  

Matt and Curraggraigue Obos Flight won the opening day's Friends of the Meadows Jumper 1.45 class and also won the fourth day's Jani - King Cup 1.40.

Kara and Irinka Lady won the Bantrel Cup 1.30 on Sunday, and then Kara came 2nd in the ATCO Classic 1.50 aboard Firefly W, also on Sunday.

Matt won Saturday's AON Cup 1.50 with Ebolensky.

Matt was 2nd in the AltaGas Jumper 1.50 with Geneve R and 3rd in the PwC 1.55 with Connecticut.





Matt and Kara are off to an incredible start at Spruce Meadows!

Winning both the 5yr old and 7yr old Dutch Young Horse Championships at @tops.international.arena made for a pretty special day!! 🥇🐎🥇
