Team Canada has a unique combination of young talents and legendary champions, and Kara Chad is a great example of what the country has in store for the future. Kara has previously worked for Eric Lamaze in Belgium, during the summer and in Wellington, Florida through the winter months. World of Showjumping met Kara to discuss some of her lessons learned while working under Lamaze’s guidance.
After a highly successful pony career Matthew spent time based with Duncan Inglis in Haywards Heath, W Sussex. Matt and Kara have been based in Holland and America in recent years, with Matt being a key member of the Senior Nations Cup Team. FEI: https://www.fei.org/athlete/10018992

What a whirlwind! A fantastic end to the year for team Maplepark farms. Kara and Igor soared to 2nd in the 5* Grand Prix! Matt Picked up top ten placings in the Reindeer, Mistletoe, Snowball and Santa Speed Stakes! All the horse were on top-form in this high atmosphere arena, with new ride Balento C.S taking the win in 5* Mistletoe Stakes!
Time for a well earned Christmas break and then back to it in the new year!
Matt and Ebolensky ended an already successful week at the Spruce Meadows Masters, by riding to team victory in the Nations Cup. Matts team mates, Ben Maher, Joe Stockdale and Donald Whitaker rode to victory, beating Germany (2nd) and team USA (3rd) to the top spot. Canada certainly seems to be lucky for both Kara and Matt, with both riders winning big classes here in the past year!
